Camera Movement

Throughout the crane swinging scene in The Amazing Spiderman, there is a lot of different camera movement. One example of camera movement is shown when the helicopter is flying overhead, and the camera follows. This shows the size of the obstacle in which Spiderman has to overcome. Another example of camera movement throughout the scene is when Spiderman is running off the building. This shows the determination which Spiderman is feeling, as well as he has not given up hope, despite the fact that he is injured. Slow motion is also used to help emphasise this determination of Spiderman. When the camera is following Spiderman swinging through the city, the audience are made to feel as though they are travelling alongside him, which helps them to interact with the character. This camera angle also gives a feeling of excitement, as well as giving the audience the thrill of flying high within a city.
