Setting and Location:
The location of the advertisement helps to incorporate with the theme of the advert. The female is shown to be leaning across a balcony, whilst a male is on the other side, leaning into and gazing up at her in amazement. The use of the balcony could be suggesting that there is a barrier between the pair, and that they have to overcome obstacles to be together. The setting could also be signifying romance and love, especially as the male is holding onto a bouquet of flowers, which could be suggesting he is trying to impress the female, and that he is 'lovestruck', which connects with the perfume title.
Decor
The decor within this advertisement incorporates with the theme of the perfume bottle. The colours within the advert are bright and eyecatching, and the use of the colour pink helps to connect with the colours used within the perfume bottle. The colour pink also signifies love and romance, which could be emphasising that the perfume can attract the opposite sex, because of the scent. The colour pink could also be showing that the fragrance is for women, although we cannot tell from the advert about the age group it is aimed at. The image has also been shot in daylight, which could be showing that the perfume has a light and fruity scent. The use of the white building also emphasises the pink typography, as well as the colour of the females dress. This could also be trying to be eyecatching to the audience, as well as be attempting to make the audience remember the name of the fragrance so they can continue on to purchase it.
Body Language
The female used within the advertisement is shown to be looking directly into the camera, which suggests that she wants you to focus on the advertisment and acknowledge the perfume. The female may also be looking directly into the camera in order to avoid eye contact with the male, who is seen to be looking up to her. This could be suggesting that he sees her as a godlike figure, with large authority and importance. The female may also be looking into the camera as she has been caught out interacting with the male, as it could not be allowed.
Props and Objects
Although there are not many props and objects used within the advert, the bouquet of flowers held by the male help to signify that he is 'lovestruck' by the female, and is attempting to impress her, although she does not appear interested.
Costume and Make Up
The female is shown to be wearing a long and elegant ball gown, which could be suggesting that she is an important person, or perhaps a figure of authority who comes from a wealthy family. Her hair and makeup could be trying to be opposed as natural, perhaps to make her appear young looking and innocent. She is also portrayed with a sense of formality, in comparison to the male, who is shown as wearing casual and dark clothing. The use of her bright clothing in contrast to his dark clothing could be trying to show a good angel/ bad angel relationship, and that him trying to interact with her is not allowed, which could be the reason why he has attempted to climb up the balcony.
